DAY 2 WHAT IS BINGE EATING ?

Day 2 is nearly over with just a nights sleep pending ..... 

so todays eating consisted of porridge , egg on toast and salmon with my go to yoghurt and fruit bowl to end the day ! 

I thought it would be beneficial to just divulge into the real question .... WHAT IS BINGE EATING DISORDER? 
Binge eating disorder is unique to each individual some people may eat 3 snickers bars and say "I've binged" however for others like myself binge eating is a complete loss of control whereby emotions often take over and you feel urges that take over your voluntary actions. For myself binge eating will often occur later on in the day , it will happen in secret when I'm away from anyone else due to feelings of shame and embarrassment, it will be episodes of intaking substantial amounts of calories often these calories are from foods such as cake , biscuits , chocolates and foods that I would not class as nutritiously dense . Once I've binged on as much food as I can I will then purge , and even after purging if there's still time in the day the vicious cycle can reoccur . Binge eating is a vicious cycle whereby often restriction will trigger that cycle . So let's ask ourselves these questions which may help us conquer a binge or delay the time of a binge ....

HOW IS THIS BINGE GOING TO HELP ME?

WILL BINGE EATING MAKE THE PROBLEM IM FACING ANY BETTER?

HOW WILL I FEEL AFTER THE BINGE ?

IS THIS A HEALTHY OPTION TO BINGE?

HOW MAY THIS BINGE AFFECT MY MOOD TOMORROW?

AM I WILLING TO SPEND MONEY ON BUYING FOOD TO BINGE ON AND COULD THIS MONEY BE USED FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT? 

The last question is vital as binge eating for some can be a financial strain , so next time you feel the urge to binge , try and take a moment (I know it's hard) and ask yourself them questions .....
